your keys are good for any versions in the action pack, As I undestand it
these are pretty much just open licenses, the newest iteration of ms
licensing is single key entitles you to any previous version. This is for
open licenses, retail i think is similar, but slightly different and vamt
are totally different

The action packs are activation count as i understand it unlike they used
to be.

but I have spent probably 60 hours over the last year trying to get a full
grip on licensing  and get told something different by them everytime
