Also one thing I have noticed about consumer grade generators, you are supposed to change the oil every 20 hours of runtime. Not sure anyone does that. But a consideration in a remote location. I know on my little Honda generator, changing the oil is a pain in the butt. It doesn’t look low or dirty after 20 hours. I also find it interesting that this generator has a 12VDC output, which I usually associate with inverter style generators.
