I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that they were the same
CPU.

A quick google came up with this from the Cambium forums:

 epmp1000 Synced

               CPU: 560Mhz

               SDRAM: 128MB

               Flash: 16MB

  epmp1000

               CPU: 560Mhz

               SDRAM: 64MB

               Flash: 8MB
