I'd look at Zimbra.

So he can go back and check work comp cases to see if employees were really hurt on the job. My Calcs come in at needing around 4-5tb of storage to accomplish this, so I'd like the server to have 6-8tb of storage for some overhead. Rather than building out a server with a bunch of drive bays, RAID Card and mirroring/striping drives etc, I was wondering if anyone has used an External JBOD enclosure for this? I'm thinking like a DROBO unit or similar. Any Caveats to watch out for? Is there too much disk IO to have this work well over a LAN, USB 3.0, or Thunderbolt connection? What other (Affordable) options am I missing to get a bunch of storage in a single volume for the NVR? Nate
