The 430 has the goofball patch. But it's still in the original case.
Similar issue with Stingers. You can use a Stinger Lite on a 430, but
the regular Stinger is bad juju.

We've been putting focus rings on PMP450 5.8 GHz. It "seemed" like
they helped; especially with the bigger dishes. Is that a mistake?
