My first test is replacing FSK that can barely maintain 1X due to interference.
I have no particular reason to believe it will fare better, but am willing to
be surprised. Higher modulation and wider channels shouldn’t help
interference. OFDM and dual slant MIMO, perhaps, only one way to find out.
After all, NLOS is more art than science.

One of the SMs we will be replacing is one of those 900 MHz cases where moving
the antenna 6 inches one way or the other makes a huge difference for no
apparent reason, and where it actually works better in the summer with foliage
on the trees. But we used to have service at the house next door which was the
opposite.

Interested to see how these handle interference.

I got my pre-order last week (1 AP, 3 SMs, 3 Yagis). Still working on
getting the right jumpers, powering, and sync for the AP, hoping to put it up
Tuesday of this week.

I think I saw something from Cambium, maybe on their Community forum, that it
will take into January to fill all the pre-orders.

Is someone shipping these or are they still pre-order?

  Is this new Cambium 900?

If I leave the packing sleeve on this Cambium dual pol Yagi, will it keep
the snow and ice off? ;-)

Oh, and FWIW, it's sturdier than I expected from the literature, it comes
fully assembled, and the SM clip works really nice. I still worry about ice &
snow. I'm also debating whether to weatherproof the pigtails, I assume not
because they have those boots kind of like little clear spark plug boots.
