The RB2011 also probably has a higher WiFi power output than the Linksys. Is
it close to the TV antenna? If the TV setup has PIM issues (like dissimilar
metals or loose/corroded connections), then intermodulation products of any RF
in the area may be generated.

Indoor rabbit ears are going to be dicey. They really need something outdoors,
with a powered preamp at the antenna so the signal coming into the house is
more robust.

Can you move the RB2011 away from the rabbit ears and TV, or turn down the xmt
power? Or if they like the WRT54G, just go back to that. If you want the
Mikrotik there as a managed router, turn off the WiFi and use the WRT54G as a
wireless AP?

That would be my guess. Try using a ground lifter on the RB2011’s power.

Is it possible that it is related to the power maybe you have a ground loop
caused by something crazy like a ground on the RB-2011 that isn’t in place with
the Linksys? I know that other things like this have happened with appliances
or other powered devices. Maybe they have need of better home grounding.

Interesting issue. Installed a Mikrotik RB-2011 at a customer
site (replaced an older Linksys WRT-54G and DSL router with
wireless) and since then the customer says that when the
2011 is on (wireless on) their TV's are fuzzy and the picture
and sound pauses and breaks up. I can disable the wireless
on the TIK and both TV's clear up immediately. Have tried
changing frequencies around but that does not seem to help
at all. Believe they are using just simple desktop "rabbit" ears
for the OTA TV, but have never run into this before.

  Any ideas?
