My daughter lives in Maine which sometimes seems like part of Canada, and they have Tim Hortons there. And yes, she says they are terrible, including the coffee.

Instead they now receive cardboad boxes full of sad, small, crusty, stale frozen donuts that go in an industrial microwave oven every morning. All this in the name of profit, and because normal people still want to pay $1 a donut, not the $2 it would probably cost if they really baked them in house.
