This is what I think.

Unless interactive TV as such becomes super popular, its probably best to just 
let the Sat people carry on with the 'outdated' broadcast bundle method.

The future really lies in content direct to consumer IMO.

This is why Hulu, Amazon, Netflix are buying rights and creating their own 
content.
I think they know that eventually they too will transform into just a content 
provider.

Their delivery model will become commoditized and standardized to the point 
there is little or no money in being the 'Plex' of the internet.

Another reason why Comcast isn't going anywhere any time soon.
That conglomerate has too much content and too many eyeballs to evolve 
properly, lol!
