According to what I’ve read, they stopped the 5GHz expansion and are looking hard at 60GHz. The division is floundering with no clear strategy and poor technical advice.

Solar was going to sell, but the buyer has some questionable financials so the deal died. Vivint broadband died due to a crappy homegrown radio platform. They may be trying to retool but they lost some good talent.
