VLAN disabled = transparent bridge. Meaning yes, you can send VLAN
tagged frames and the radios won't touch them.
However, you can enable VLAN and send tagged frames and it will be fine.
Default port type on the SM is Q and all frame types (tagged and
untagged allowed). As long as you don't set the 'Default Port VID' on
the SM to the VLAN you want to be tagged. Default port VID is like
switchport access mode (tag is stripped upon egress).
