All of ours do as well. Not all have a PTO, though.

All of my tractors have a 3PH. Mine also have aux hydraulics for operating
top-n-tilt.

Two problems:
1) Not all tractors have a three point hitch.
2) The can designs are not standardized.

I was surprised at the different number and sizes of can designs.
When I started the project I was looking at doing it simple like this, but when
I found out there is not a pocket on all cans etc and the sizes and geometries
vary I did it the way the garbage trucks do it.

I hate to say this but I think you’re making it a lot more complicated than it
might need to be Chuck. Have you seen this one?

Your design has the advantage of not having to get off and turn the bin around
if it’s facing the wrong way but this sure is simple.

That is kinda what I am hoping.

It will be 100% hot dip galvanized.

Just scoop it on and away you go, nothing to connect or hookup.

Not sure yet whether or not to offer multiple powering options such as:

    * On board battery with removable battery and charger in the house.
    * On board batter with built in 120 VAC charger and short AC cord and plug.
    * Connect to the 12 VDC system of the tractor (lower cost option).

I was going to control it via tilt switch. Tilt it a bit down and it opens, up
and it closes.

But I think I will go with the RF remote. Tilts might be tricky when going up
and down slopes.

You don’t want to go down hill and have it dump your garbage.

I could do a remote switch and tractor power for the super economy version...
