[AFMUG] Broadcom CTF

I had a customer hit me with a new one, he was setting up an ASUS router, 
and got a warning something like Level 2 CTF not available with PPPoE.

Apparently CTF stands for cut through forwarding and is a Broadcom 
proprietary feature.

Is this basically the same as Fast Path on Mikrotik?
