I sort of agree with you on the model 3. But for the model S, it's great in its market niche. If I were in the market for an Audi A8, BMW 750 or large Mercedes S-class, the full size luxury sedans they're competing with...
In Vancouver and Seattle I have seen considerably fewer full size gasoline luxury cars and a lot more new model S driving around in the last 2 years. I would rather buy a model S/P100D and enjoy ludicrous mode.
