Oh well. Lots of dairy farmers out here who keep our fridge stocked with 
cheese. This month's haul: Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, and Swiss. I can't 
complain.

When we visited relatives in Minnesota in September, my nephew made a big batch 
of poppers, Minnesota style. jalapenos split in half, and filled with a mixture 
of cheddar, bacon, and onions, then lightly toasted in the oven for about 10 
minutes.
