All,

Yes it is true. The sale was finalized about two weeks ago. Wave
purchased the WISP/Fiber assets of Cascade Networks, Inc.. Last Mile Gear and
its associated entities will continue on functioning as they have for the last
16 years. From a day to day operations standpoint not much has changed, Brian
has a little more bounce in his step.

For Last Mile Gear this will free up some revenue which will allow us to focus
on product development and enhancing internal systems. We are all pretty
excited really. I’m guessing you will be seeing and hearing from Brian on a
more regular basis moving forward.

Merry Christmas! :)

Subject: [AFMUG] Wave Acquires Cascade Networks

There's been some M&A in the Seattle area with Wave buying Cascade Networks.
Cascade Networks is a WISP, but they also own Last Mile Gear. They've been on
the list in the past, so hopefully they can chime in and tell us what's
happening with LMG.
