Yep, a 5MHz guard band is required for ePMP. The OFDM channel drops off sharply on the 450, so no guard band is required. Except for the uplink side on 3GHz 450, which has Adjacent Channel Support. That limits the Tx power on the SMs to 23dBm for OOBE so that they do not interfere with adjacent sectors running with zero guard.

Now... the ePMP 2000 does have Tx in addition to Rx filtering. So maybe that doesn't need a guard. I don't know. My guess is the OOBE from the SMs especially at 5.7GHz with their 30dBm Tx power could be pretty bad. But if the ePMP 2k filter can handle it, then maybe it'll work fine.
