A whole room microwave Awesome!
How would you like your executives fried hard or runny LOL
I am just trying to show the lighter side :)
It would be excellent for a single room media center for everyone to
fight over who gets to control the tv.
Or a long hallway to link end to end

I'm personally excited about this technology advancing. We will find
ways and places to use it. One nice thing about 60GHz is that it does
not escape the building. It isn't good for room to room either.
It is good for hundreds of meters of LOS connectivity though. I'm
sure we can use it somewhere...
Also expect to see devices this year with 11ad built-in. TBD on the
ramp-up but every device that can connect to 60GHz means 5GHz is
offloaded!

Because 802.11ad has been such a resounding success and customers

When they suggest wireless displays as an application, I think
wouldn’t it be nice if satellite and cable TV companies used 60
GHz instead of 5 GHz for their wireless receivers, but I assume 60
GHz isn’t great for room-to-room?
