Any SM with firmware newer than 13.1 (or thereabouts) has a file at
http://<SM IP address>/canopy_config.cgi?mac_esn=<SM MAC address> which
is the full configuration in XML.
You could collect the default configuration from a new SM in one XML,
and just do a diff with one collected from an active SM.
