No, each pair is a balanced transmission line. They actually convey RF and the twist of the pair cancels out radiation leaving the pair and entering other pairs. The twist also prevents interference from the other pairs. So separating them actually will make interference less and lower specs like NEXT (Near End Cross Talk).
