There a couple on Amazon that use 5.8 autoswitching, could work here. I found
a 60ghz one for $ 150 there, and I ordered it. We’ll see

I think we could all use this. I use an HDMI-over-two-CAT5 device to pipe it

No ability to tape one end of the old cable to the new one and pull it through?

Anybody have a wireless HDMI transmitter receiver that they are in love with?

We have a ceiling mount projector that we replaced recently with an Optomo.
The old projector that got replaced worked with the HDMI that we ran 10 years
ago when we built the room, but the new one won’t. I tried a couple of the
“boosters” and they don’t work for me. We ran a long New cable with better
specs and it works just fine. It’s a HUGE undertaking to remove the floor of
the unit above us to get to a place where we could replace the existing one, so
looking for wireless.

It would be LOS to my desktop PC at about 20 feet away (at the most).
