Title: Re: [AFMUG] Low Voltage certification
Dan,

Someone mentioned on the FISPA list that the new 2017 electrical code is getting stricter on all LV stuff.  Maybe sky is falling stuff, but I didn't pay to much attention to it.  FL is still on the 2011 book and will be adopting the 2014 book 12/17.  I know MA has already adopted the 2017.  Any WISPs in MA on the list?

The best advice I can give you is to know where in the book the information is. Its an open book test and if you are a fast reader, knowing how the book is put together is the key.

How hard is it to pass the LV certification test?  I am thinking about getting for myself, but my time is so limited. (everyone can relate).

Like is there a “cliff note” version, a weekend bootcamp, or other “quick” path for this?  I have a decent electronics background, and know that sticking my tongue in a 110vac outlet is not ideal
