I'd say at least 4-5 hours of my time per week was dealing with email
issues. We gave all of our customers 6 months, which turned into 8
months, to clean up, download, back up, etc. their shit and GTFO.
There's Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook/Hotmail/Live/MSN and whatever else. Plenty
free options with lots of storage. We still do web/email hosting for
businesses on cPanel, but that's it. Never going there for regular
customers ever again.

There are better things to focus on IMO.

*Subject:* [AFMUG] Hosted Email for ISPs?
In a world where anyone can get a free 15GB gmail address, what is
an ISP to do? Hosted services are unyielding with their price
structure and equally miserly with mailbox storage. Of course,
they get to worry about a lot of things I enjoy not worrying about
– Spam policies, storage I/O, AV, and all the other headaches
inherent to hosting email for more than two people. Is there any
goldilocks solution out there?
