yep we just use the second input on the base unit with an old router
power cord (12v 500ma) and when the 12v goes down my snmp server sends
me an alert... Only problem is if you loose one leg it doesn't work.
Almost better to install a 240v outlet and use a 12v500ma adapter on
that so if one leg dies it always goes down.
