No...I did have plenty of room...not like my Suburban or other 1500 I had but with 350.....those were allot harder. Pep Boys quoted me 275.00 and all day wait time... I purchased water pump and antifreeze plus gasket goop for 60.00 ( my cuz is parts manager there) and took me a bit over an hour with neighbors coming over and shooting the gab. no down time from work....priceless
