At the risk of stating the obvious, I would encourage you to actually look at all the applicants, including their candidate statements, and vote in support (or against) however many of them you think best for the movement, rather than automatically voting by geography.
If Felix gets elected, it should be because enough people think he would best serve this funding committee, and not (only) because he's African. A.
