Your support at this moment cannot be overemphasized The core objectives of the project - Given visibility to Nigerian women using Wikipedia through ( Wiki Loves Women) programs - Creating awareness about Wikimedia and related projects The above mentioned objectives will be achieved as follows - 13 weeks ( 30 minutes per week) live broadcast with focus on Nigerian women on Wikipedia ( it will be inform of phone-in program) - The radio program will also tend to identify women that are suppose to have articles on Wikipedia but not yet there. ( suggestion will be collated from callers about whom they think should be on Wikipedia but not yet there) - It will also serve as providing answers to series of begging for questions from readers and contributors on Wikipedia in Nigeria. - Monthly Edit-a-thorn with participation from female students in tertiary institutions across the nation. Each month will focus on a unique theme. ( Suggested Notable women above will be used for articles here) - Working with Nigerian press on what to be focused or reported when reporting Nigerian women related content in print media ( We will be signing another partnership with the foremost printing media house in the month of September). Most report about women in Nigeria focus mainly on works of such individual but not there personalty. We tend to use this medium to change this attitude. - Wikipedia In Residence: The station being a women focus platform, as promised to be releasing contents on Nigerian women for use on Wikimedia projects eg. Images, audio recording on prominent Nigerian women We appreciate your comments and improvements.
