Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well.
After the success of the first Write for the Rights event in Tunis where we
focused on sexual rights, for the next upcoming 4 days, my dear friends Sophie
and Lea and I are organizing a Write for the rights event in Marseille that
will focus on enriching the Wikipedia content related to the right to migration
and movement. This event is targetting refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and
sex workers in France, where we will train them on editing with their native
languages. The event got officially integrated as one of the main activities of
the United Nations's World refugee day in Marseille.
The event will be also a way to present Wikimedia's movement and the activism
it has as we're participating in the different activities of the 5+5 summit
organized by the french president's office.
This is an invitation for all of you to write with us and translate some of the
articles that you can find here. Your contribution will be very important for
the project as the majority of the community that is directly touched by the
topic (the migrants in french), come mainly from African countries. So you
writing in your own languages about, will help this vulnerable community get
easier and better access to such important information. Also, the 5+5 summit is
basically a summit of 5 countries from the northern side of the mediterranian
and 5 from the southern one (so african countries).

More details about the project can be found in its french page, but the first 2
links in the mail are in english.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any question or suggestion.
Have a nice day.
