Wiki Indaba is a working conference, for active Wikimedia contributors and organizers, and is not open to the general public. Nor is it a suitable venue for the wiki-curious to come and learn the basics. There are other events in Nigeria that *would* be suitable for that purpose, if your contacts are not already actively involved in Wikimedia.
