Dear Wikimedians, The WikiIndaba Steering Committee <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Indaba_Steering_Committee> (WISCom) has two volunteer positions open for Wikimedians in Africa and the diaspora to apply.

WISCom was formed in 2018 to oversee the process of the WikiIndaba conference and support African Wikimedians who associate with WikiIndaba.This came after a resolution was taken <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Conference/WM_TN/Wikiindaba2018/Report> to lift the burden of constant burnout from WikiIndaba conference organisers. In this regard, WISCom is composed of representatives from previous Wiki-Indaba organisers, current WikiIndaba Conference Local Organising Committee (LOC), and three volunteers from the wider community.
