Apologies for cross-posting! Dear African friends,
Are you a member of the Europeana Network Association (ENA)? I’m glad to share that I am running for a seat on the 2024 Europeana Members Council, and I would be grateful for your support! In this election, I aim to represent our shared commitment to preserving cultural heritage and advancing open knowledge with my experience in community building and advocacy, open knowledge and heritage preservation. I’m dedicated to helping shape an ENA that is even more inclusive, accessible, and reflective of diverse perspectives. If elected, I’ll focus on increasing digital access, fostering multilingual resources, and supporting underrepresented narratives. Your vote would mean a lot as I work toward these goals, and it would be wonderful if you could share this with anyone else who might support this mission. Voting is simple, and every vote counts. Thank you so much for considering my candidacy—I’m grateful for any support you can offer! *Things to note:* The elections will be launched *on 13 November*, and Association Members can cast their vote until 20 November, 23:59 CET. They can select up to 27 candidates for the Members Council. Please let me know if you will need any help to vote. Warm regards, Olushola Olaniyan
