Hello everyone, #SheSaid 2026 <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/SheSaid_2026> is here!
The Wiki Loves Women team <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Wiki_Loves_Women/Team> is excited to officially launch the 7th edition of the #SheSaid <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid> campaign, running from 1 September to 31 December 2026. And this year is a little more special: Wiki Loves Women <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Wiki_Loves_Women> is celebrating 10 years of making women visible in open knowledge. Keeping up our good habits, we would like to share a few key points and useful information to help you get started with this new edition. == For organisers == If you are coordinating SheSaid in your language or community, the SheSaid 2026 Meta page <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/SheSaid_2026> is your main starting point. Please make sure to: 1. Set up or update your local SheSaid Wikiquote page and add it to the list of participating linguistic communities <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/SheSaid_2026#Participating_Linguistic_Communities:_GO_THERE_TO_PARTICIPATE> . 2. Create your local Meta page and add it to the list of participating affiliates and user groups <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/SheSaid_2026#Participating_Affiliates/_User_Groups> . 3. Plan your activities: edit-a-thons, online sessions, workshops, campaigns or any other format that works for your community. 4. Share your activities with us so we can help amplify them through Wiki Loves Women <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/Portal#Project_links> communications. 5. Track your contributions throughout the campaign so your community’s work can be included in the final results. Track your results Please make sure to: - Add #SheSaid to their Wikiquote edits. - Record new and improved content on your local SheSaid page. - Use the SheSaid dashboard and tracking tools <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/Resources_and_Tools> to follow your contributions. - Add your programme to the dashboard campaign <https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/campaigns/shesaid_2026/overview>, or add (User:Afek91) to your dashboard. We recommend exploring the recordings from previous office hours, which cover Wikiquote editing, dashboards and tracking, and can be found on the SheSaid Resources and Tools page <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/Resources_and_Tools> . Please note:If you organise activities outside the official campaign dates, please remember to track those contributions separately. == Communication materials == We have prepared a collection of SheSaid 2026 communication materials <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Women/SheSaid/SheSaid_2026#Communications_Material> to help you spread the word, including postcards, bookmarks and social media visuals. If you would like to adapt or create materials in your language, please get in touch with me. We can share the Canva templates and help you prepare your local versions. And if you organise an in-person SheSaid activity, please do not forget to share photos from your event on Wikimedia Commons <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:SheSaid_2026> so we can celebrate the people and communities making the campaign happen. == Need help? == The Wiki Loves Women team is here to support you throughout the campaign.
