Hello everyone,

As we approach the end of our 2026 workshop series, we are bringing the
year to a close with a topic that concerns every Wikimedia space we create
and participate in: how we make those spaces safer and more inclusive.

For the final EduWiki workshop of 2026, the *EduWiki Hub
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_%26_Education_User_Group/EduWiki_Hub>*
, *Volunteer Supporters Network (VSN)
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Volunteer_Supporters_Network>* and *Universal
Code of Conduct team
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Universal_Code_of_Conduct/Coordinating_Committee>*
will
come together for:

*Creating Safer and More Inclusive Wikimedia Spaces: Understanding and
Applying the Universal Code of Conduct*

This two-hour interactive session will use practical examples, scenarios
and discussion to explore how the Universal Code of Conduct applies to
Wikimedia education, volunteer support and community activities.

Participants will have the opportunity to practise responding to situations
involving potentially problematic behaviour, learn about reporting and
escalation options, and consider how local and cultural contexts can shape
the way behavioural principles are understood and applied.

*Date: 15 October 2026*
*Time: 12:00–14:00 UTC*
*Location: Online (Zoom)*

*Register:* https://w.wiki/VmAW

We hope you can join us for the final EduWiki workshop of the year.
