ACALAN is the African Academy of Languages. It is a specialised institution of
the African Union entrusted with the task of promoting and developing African
languages. In the next three years, ACALAN will be working with some
Commissions for the Vehicular Cross-Border Languages of which Yoruba language
is one. For the empowerment of Yoruba culture through the elevation of the
Yoruba language, the Yoruba Vehicular Cross-Border Commission would like to
receive helpful suggestions from everyone that is interested in the language.
