Well, its not exactly as there is anything for LACNIC either...

However this is not directly AfriNIC issue (unless it wants to make it part
of its agenda), the RADB is also not correct name, its RR (Routing Registry)
and RADB is just one type of RR that is run by MERIT.EDU. That RR (as do many others) mirrors other RRs and it so happens that both RIPE and APNIC run their own RR, but there are also other RR available and AfriNIC organizations can also directly put data into RADB (as do American ISPs) or they can organize its own RR and ask MERIT to mirror it (or if AfriNIC wants to do that, it can run RR as part of system similar to what RIPE).

Also don't confuse RADB with WHOIS and dont assume that if there is no entry in RADB that you'd get filtered, that is absolutly not true. RR is used for router configuratians between ISPs when peering but its not a filter for outside networks.

Hi,

One big problem....
The RADB database queries RIPE/APNIC/ARIN etc, but doesn't seem to pick
up anything from Afrinic DB.
As all big backbone carriers use RADB to update their filters, the
result of this may be that members of Afrinic end up getting filtered.
Can someone tell RADB to query the Afrinic DB?
