Gempa berpusat pada kedalaman 30 km di bawah laut. "Iya, berpotensi tsunami. Kita belum dapat informasi dari teman-teman di sana (Tasik malaya) namun kita sudah mengeluarkan warning tsunami," ujar petugas Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika kepada detikcom. Sementara BMKG mengaku masih menghubungi teman-teman di daerah pusat gempa. Gempa skala 7.3 SR terjadi di 142 km barat daya Tasik malaya. Sementara itu, banyak pihak yang keluar dari gedung dan rumah untuk menjauhi tertimpa bangunan.
