Galaxy S II (samsung) *Barcelona* - Samsung Galaxy S II resmi diperkenalkan Samsung. Diperlengkapi dengan prosesor dual core, layar lebih canggih dan akses internet HSPA+, Galaxy S II digadang-gadang sebagai salah satu ponsel tercanggih yang beredar di tahun 2011 ini. Dikutip *detikINET* dari ComputerWorld, Senin (14/2/2011), Galaxy S II memakai OS Android Gingerbread alias versi 2.3. Sedangkan layarnya yang sebesar 4,3 inch dibekali teknologi Super Amoled Plus, yang diklaim lebih cemerlang dibanding generasi terdahulu. Di balik segala fitur kelas atasnya, smartphone ini berukuran sangat langsing, bahkan diklaim tertipis di dunia. Ketebalannya cuma 8,49mm dan berat hanya 4,09 ons. Sama seperti Google Nexus S yang juga mereka produksi, Galaxy S II diperlengkapi dengan fitur NFC alias Near Field Communication. Fasilitas ini memungkinkan transaksi pembayaran dilakukan via ponsel. Handset ini bakal mulai dikapalkan sekitar bulan Mei mendatang, dengan harga yang belum disebutkan.
