I just enjoy making them. This interesting fellow Jorn Barger one day created something new and amazing that he called a "weblog". Nobody had ever done that before (except one guy had done something similar). Jorn published the "Robot Wisdom Weblog" and the idea really took off. Soon their were dozens of weblogs, then hundreds, then hundreds of millions of them. Maybe the First Working AGI will spawn something similar.
