So, after a skilled coder gets frustrated, he or she thus attempts to reduce the complexity, cleans it up, so that other wetware general intelligent coders may then expend less energy (more efficiency) when performing intelligent manipulation on said string of code.
IOW, take the Levenshtein distance from the code string with the goto's to the modified one without and that is the reduced complexity that your brain consumed.
