At least, I can afford an expensive GPU when the big time comes..... I don't
see millionaires on Matt's contest like OpenAI using a supercomputer....so this
is good - pretty good that they are using common machines. If they spent 10,000
then that is getting up there of course, but still closeish to buyable,
especially seeing how Microsoft gave OpenAI a supercomputer. In this sense it
is not a who is richer contest, it is a who has smarter AI, and simply you get
more compute power the better the AI does, able to use what Earth allows and
put the contest to what it hoped for - what can be done using a big computer.

This puts a whole new though to the Hutter Prize. Hmm. Yes 1 or nah 2 cores
will do, but what if using 100,000 cores changes how the algorithm must work,
especially if is a GPU or beowulf? This may allow a smarter AI to be found. So
it is feasible then for poor folks, and, possibly a good way to find smarter
AI, unlike HP contest. Both are good contests though.
