I never even heard of Raj Reddy before. I decided to try and watch one of these annoyances out of curiosity as to what might be going on over at the Computer History Museum. What I saw was a very different Computer History Museum from the days of yore when it was clearly the case that vital pieces of computer history, otherwise lost, forgotten and/or ignored were being preserved.
The CHM is now what Seymour <https://www.computerhistory.org/revolution/supercomputers/10/33/62> would have referred to as "slick", reflecting current Silicon Valley "Culture" almost certainly as a result of a huge amount of network effect economic rent descending from above to we of below, to sit there in a warm, moist, steaming heap of groat clusters enriching the landscape, joining the sidewalks of San Francisco. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T36c6d508ad4d7749-Ma7350ce9a6247c5bbf46698c Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
