FWIW, even black holes emit some radiation/information. It's called Hawking's 
radiation, and there is even a solid formula describing it. So even when a 
black hole swallows something, there is no the complete information loss. Maybe 
some, but not all. Somehow I imagine the same happens with the death of a 
living being, but on the smaller scale.
