I think it should be illegal for AI to claim to be human or conscious or have feelings. So far, none of the AIs I tested do this. Here is Grok's response to my question "are you conscious?"

Likewise, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Alexa gave answers that they are not human and not conscious. AI, as in passing the Turing test, is a solved problem. It requires nothing more than text prediction, as I have been saying for the last 20 years. But AI could claim convincingly to be human, and therefore conscious, if we instructed it to do so. That's what passing the Turing test means. There is nothing mysterious about consciousness. It is what thinking feels like, a steady stream of mostly positive reinforcement that motivates you to not let it end by dying. You have the illusion of consciousness because it results in more offspring. I disagree that consciousness requires a biological brain.
