BlackRock's AI app Aladdin, started in 1988 has arguably become the most
powerful known AI entity on Earth managing $20+ trillion is assets including
sovereign governments, central banks and is increasingly interconnecting and
expanding while attempting to gain control of ALL assets. When liquidity leaves
equity markets, including the Magnificent 7, it doesn't vanish it moves since
it's conserved in the system. An AI that moves liquidity among destinations
that it controls wins either way while extracting value from unbeknownst
bagholders. We are far, far away to where everyone is a winner. There will be
losers, those who suffer and/or are extinguished. True though some may he happy
wearing a VR headset on meds or nano stimulated while owning nothing. But the
concept of everyone being joyous, on UBI, no work, no disease, no pollution,
robots everywhere, is that realistic in the relatively near future? Perhaps for
some... perhaps we're in the singularity now like some
billionaires/trillionaires suggest. Or maybe just the hope of a singularity
fuels people, like "immanentizing the eschaton" or the religious Heaven on
Earth which has been utilized many times in the past... maybe that's good
enough. Don't get me wrong though this isn't doomerism it’s pragmatism. Duality
exists. Destinations require journeys. Balance sheets should balance. Blind
pursuit of utopias have left unempathic trails of casualties. And I wonder who
or what permits this AI debt creation mania similar to the previous years where
$20+ trillion of mysteriously untraceable expenditures were approved shifting
that debt burden essentially onto the public resulting in an inflation tax for
EVERYONE. The reality is we don't fully know.
