Not familiar with that link at all, but I did have a scan of it. It seems to be mostly conjecture and quite a lot of unscientific fantasy. That's not a view I share. However, I do try and research as rigorously as possible with intent to formulate a from-first-principles theory. It's harder than one would imagine.
If one tried to assemble a hierarchy of theorems, one would be surprised to find that to be scientific would require one to ignore quite a lot of evidence, which due to not being popular narrative ends up hanging loose in a science cupboard for many decades, and sometimes more than 120 years. Now, were those scientifically accepted theorems valid and reliable to begin with? One of those I spent much time with was the Kaluza-Klein theory relating to gravitational unity, or reformatted as possibly bridging classical and quantum physics. That's the goal many seekers have been focusing on for the past decade at least, especially with the assistance of smart machines and now LLMs. Until our theorems have been empirically tested, the best we can do is to conclude not to conclude. The E8 "crowd" are as excited about the theorem as was the String Theory crowd, who started fabricating theory in an attempt to make it work, and failed. I hope E8 works out, but on its own, it really can't explain the vastness of Julia Set-related field theory. There's a whole generation of research that would have to be completed to try and make sense of it all relative to the demands of from-first principle integration. The technology to conduct empirical test for much of the predictions of advanced theorems may only exist in 10-30 years' time. One may satisfy mathematically, then be reminded that it's symbolic and partitioned. Then one may satisfy fractally, only to be reminded that it has no real relationship to the physical world. Then one may satisfy for Higgs, only to be reminded there's another operator beyond the quantum horizon that demands satisfying. And so on. In this sense, integrating scientific theory, as I tend to want to do, is an endless hobby. A slave of E8 is a slave to a limited scientific perspective. E8 itself, only offers a part of the theoretical perspective. We may posit some suggestions, but hard answers few of us can produce, and if we did, the empiricists would be there to force the submissions into the "preprint" parking lot. Science has become a bit of a gamble shamble, that's why others are just forging ahead, engineering the machines. If the machine works, the science must therefore be valid and reliable, right? The system cannot be beat. Humans (as in human consciousness) exist in temporal states of completeness.
