"OK, I agree, but if we are to do intelligent computing, we must somehow 
represent what we read and know. Apparently, the reason people have been 
gravitating to a textual representation (that can't possibly support computing) 
is because they lack anything better.
What is needed here is a proposal of some sort, to get this ball rolling. Any

I just came from AAAI Spring Symposium where I gave a talk entitled "The Neural 
Proposition: Structures for Cognitive Systems".It was about having a database 
of facts where activation can flow from fact to fact much in the same way 
neurons pass activationamongst each other in the brain.  The AGI would use this 
representation to hold its knowledge of the world. 
It doesn't have to be neural propositions, but any kind of database of facts 
would probably do for AGI.
