Certainly that is the right approach. Natural language is context
sensitive. Not just semantically and grammatically, but across all of
our sensory inputs. What you understand also depends on who is
talking, where you are, what you see, and so on.

So does Kurzweil, and I am sure he is working on it using Google's
vast resources.
