"The most ignorant people are often those who want to lead because their inflated ego makes them believe that they are (fundamentally) right about our future. Unfortunately every person which is stuck in a belief system does think he/she is right while not being aware of the belief trap in the first place. We got the same problem today with economics. We are stuck in a belief system of fear and competition and we are still legitimizing the most ignorant (which also happen to be the loudest) people to set the rules we play by in this world of abundance."
Awesome job camel, a mushy blend of modern theory that repeatedly contradicts itself. I haven't heard any of this stuff before (eyeroll). Most people are incapable of true self-examination and self-understanding because they are ignorant of ancient philosophy, which poses the only alternative to the modern concept of man. First off, everything that lives obeys, and if you can't obey yourself, someone else will command you. The ubermensch leads by example, and those who are inferior to him fall in behind him. This is the natural order (what you hippies like to think of as collaborative). http://www.businessinsider.com/geekess-calls-linus-torvalds-out-for-rants-2013-7 Commanding is more difficult and dangerous than obeying, but we are all driven to it by our fundamental will to power. The powerful obey themselves and command others. Those who are commanded submit so that they may command those who are even weaker. Because power can only be gained through obedience, life always seeks to submit, change, and overcome itself. As a result, life is characterized by change. Nietzsche contends that rather than directing our will to power outward to dominate those around us, we direct it inward and gain self-mastery. With self-mastery you gain profound self-control and spiritual depth, representing a more refined form of power than the power gained by conquering barbarians. The greatest power that we can have is power over ourselves, and we gain power over ourselves in the same way we gain power over external enemies: by attacking them and submitting them to our will. Strong-willed people, whom Nietzsche often refers to as free spirits, are always ready to attack their fundamental beliefs and assumptions, to question their very identity. There is great safety in resting assured that certain truths or beliefs are beyond question (that's why AI hasn't moved forward in 50 years), and it takes great courage to question our fundamental "truths." . Nietzsche writes that what is important is not the courage of our convictions but the courage for an attack on our convictions. Such courage exhibits a strong will to power, the will to choose self-mastery over safety. .
