The real test for Watson is in evaluating pros and cons as a basis for action. So now that it can assess two or more sides of an argument, it needs some faculty for selecting justifications and taking action. It can use legal reasoning (i.e. case based reasoning) as a basis for itsdecisions, or some metric of utility (e.g., the good of the many outweighthe needs of the few or the one). That is where the very interesting work begins. Beyond simple information gathering.
