Hi all,

I hereby renew my call for a MUCH more valuable REVERSE Turing test
competition. Here, people and/or teams would compete to present themselves
as super-AGI computers that solve the world's problems, presumably in
unorthodox ways.

I believe that a few such competitions will expose the unseen challenges in
such a dream, and would be an absolute necessity to ever actually achieving
such a dream.

The rules would be a bit tricky, e.g. questions would be responded to with
replies from each team, but the responses would NOT be associated with any
particular team. The responses would be individually graded, and the team
receiving the highest overall grade would win. This way, an occasional
stupid response wouldn't detract from stellar responses coming from the
same team.

I would enjoy either running or participating in such a grand challenge. Is
there anyone else around here who would like to be a part of this?

Steve

Full employment can be had with the stoke of a pen. Simply institute a six
hour workday. That will easily create enough new jobs to bring back full
employment.
